Grameenfriends Community Health care encompasses preventive, primitive and curative health services. This health project aims to provide basic healthcare services to the extremely vulnerable groups for sub-urban and rural areas of Bangladesh. Primary health issues are not addressed effectively within Bangladesh and this having impacts economic development within the country. Communicable and Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) are major causes of mortality within Bangladesh. Highest causes of morality include: diarrhea, pneumonia, ARI (Acute Respiratory Illness) other respiratory diseases and Protein Emergency Malnutrition (PEM). That why Grameenfriends planned to implement Healthcare project with a view to improve the health conditions of the poor and ultra-poor within the communities whilst providing high-quality primary health services with lower and reasonable cost.

“SOCIAL AiD to distribute winter clothing to Rohingya refugees

” SOCIAL AiD will begin distributing warm clothing to Rohingya refugees sheltered in Cox’s Bazar of Bangladesh from 9 December 2019. Almost 54000 items of clothing comprising of 1800 warm shawls 1800 blanket for adults and 1800 Sweaters/jackets for children less than eight years will be distributed.
